The Friday and Saturday parties are sold out!
All parties will be held at our dance studio Vintage Club, which is located right in the city centre. The location has a cozy feeling, air condition, and a fantastic dance floor for Balboa and Shag – you will love it.
Participation in a competition is only possible in connection with the respective evening ticket. There is an entry fee of 5 euros / person for each competition.
Doors open at 19:45. The Check-In is open until 22:30!

Due to the limited number of tickets for the parties on Friday and Saturday night, tickets are only available in combination with a registration for the workshops until Oct 11th. If not sold out before, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase without a workshop registration from Oct 12th.
Inspired by the wild hot sounds of 1930s/40s Harlem, Kansas City and Chicago jazz, The Big Five have established themselves as Berlin’s most authentic swing era combo. Combining a driving rhythm section, a fiery horn-led frontline and dynamic song-arrangements, this international band makes a deep dive into the lesser-known repertoire of the Swing Golden Age - as well as a strong emphasis on original compositions. Ranging in size from the core quintet to the full septet lineup, The Big Five are veterans of Berlin’s famed Swing dancehalls and know how to turn a mild-mannered dance party into a raging frenzy of Throw- and Shag-Outs. With their sharp attire, explosive energy, and an intense passion for authentic swing era jazz, these cats will certainly make you Jump for Joy!
